Moozies Kindness Symphonies In celebration of the Children's Kindness Network's tenth anniversary, two Moozie Kindness symphony pieces were commissioned. Children's Kindness Network commissioned nationally known composer Kim Scharnberg to compose two orchestra pieces featuring Moozie the Cow Moozie's Kind Adventure and Moozie's Orchestra Adventure. In case you are not completely sure who Moozie is, she is a a kind, gentle cow who is the ambassador of kindness. She is a lovable children's icon that delivers a core message of Always Be Kind. Past Performances. (2008-2009)

Moozie's Kind AdventureThis symphony piece is based on the narrative of the acclaimed children's book, Moozie's Kind Adventure, written by Jane Morton and illustrated by Jane Royse. The book theme is how Moozie the Cow saves three baby ducklings from a herd of thirsty cows. The story illustrates how one cow's act of kindness, just like one person's act of kindness, can truly make a difference.
Length: 5 minutes Moozie's Orchestra AdventureTiny Tinny Triangle (TT), the newest and smallest member of the orchestra, is befriended by Moozie the Cow as TT arrives for his first rehearsal. TT is scared because he has not met the members of the orchestra and doesn't know the sound he will make when he plays with the big orchestra. Moozie leads TT on the quest to find his sound by visiting the different orchestra sections and introducing TT to individual instruments. Some instruments are kind to TT; some are not so kind. The instruments in each orchestra section have featured solos and the children hear and learn about them. Diversity is explored as each section performs a different style of music which initially appears to be impossible to blend or work together. The strings perform a country hoe-down, the woodwinds perform short and fast notes, the brass perform a Copland-style fanfare and the percussion perform a rhythmic Samba street dance. At the end TT, finds his "sound" and supplies the perfect crowning note to the entire orchestra's presentation as each section's unique musical style is brilliantly blended together as the entire orchestra plays this beautiful, high energy, foot-taping score that climaxes with one note "Tiny Tinny Triangle" solo. Length: 15 minutes Contributing Artists:Children's Kindness Network has assembled a cast of 17 unique speaking voices from the music, entertainment and sports worlds.
